4:08 pm - 2004 Undergraduate Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch Competition

I am so excited!!! In one of my classes we had a competition this last Friday and there were 12 groups competing. We were to give a 90 second "elevator pitch" of our business idea. We had to include start up costs, break-even data, target market and size, etc. So our group was doing an Indian Wedding Planning business in the bay area. We did a great job and I felt that the judges appreciated our efforts and accurate information.
So today I checked my e-mail and there was an e-mail from my professor to announce the winners of the 2004 Undergraduate Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch Competition. First place: MY GROUP
Second Place: doesn't matter :-p
Third Place: my friends
So because my group won we get $500 and a half a letter grade bump to our final grade! I am so stoked, and this will look awesome on resume!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!

So I started a new diet today that makes me feel like crap, but my mom guarantees I will lose at least 5-10 lbs in the first week. I feel hungry all the time, even though I am eating like 6 times a day now and I have a killer headache. Oh well.....I will do this for a week, and if it doesn't work then its back to normal eating again.

This weekend was very fun and eventful. On Saturday I got to go spend the evening at Jason's dad's new bar that just opened in the city. He was the bouncer for the night so I sat there from 8-2ish in the morning. I got pretty tired around 2 but it was worth it. It was fun to see how far the bar had come since his dad bought it, and just to hang out with Jason all night. Then on Sunday we went to the Dave Matthews Band concert in the Park. It was tons of fun. Crazy amounts of people!!! We didn't realize how many people were there until we left and looked back on the field that it was on and saw the amounts of people, WOW! Then after the concert went to a nice dinner with Jason's family for his dad's birthday. It was nice.
Oh and did I mention the brand new nice ass truck that Jason just got??? I am in love with him and his truck! It is very HOT :-D

Yeah, so I am back in the city now and in my new apartment, which rocks! Not as big as my place last year, but still very nice. I am so excited that I am a senior and will be done with school in a few short months. It makes looking at this year a piece of cake. I can't believe 4 years have passed by so quickly, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. Wooooo hoooooo, I'm graduating :-)

So I am done with my first weekend of LSAT classes and man.....it is going to be a lot of work! We took a practice exam the first day of class and I didn't do too bad, but I didn't do great either. We are expected to do at least 15 hours of homework a week preparing for our classes on the weekends which is intense seeing as I have 18 units of class and 25 hours of work a week. This is really going to start pushing my stress levels and I don't do well with stress. Plus this means less Jason time and that stresses me out even more. I am used to spending weekends with him and this class takes up all of my weekends for three months :-( I know I will find a way to balance all that I have to do, but I am just getting overwhelmed thinking about it and just don't like it. *bleh*

I am now officially registered to take my LSAT. I am so nervous and excited!!! I can't believe I am trying to get into Law School, its such a hard thing to do. But I am really excited that I am taking this big step in my life and I thought I would share it with everyone here.

OMG, he still is the best boyfriend ever!!! Today coming back to my apartment on my break, there were flowers waiting at the front desk and I didn't really pay any attention to them and I was talking to the front desk lady because she was my freshman RA, and she was like those flowers are for you!!! Can you believe it? More flowers today!!! Today I got 6 white roses and 7 red roses!!! A perfect bakers dozen of gorgeous roses! They smell so wonderful and are so beautiful. I can't even describe how lucky and how special I feel. Jason is the best and I just feel that everybody should know that!!!!!!

I have the best boyfriend any girl could ever have!!! I walk into work today and there were flowers on the front counter waiting for me :-) I was so surprised and happy and I couldn't' take the silly smile off my face the entire time I was at work. Everyone that came in commented on them which made me blush, but I felt sooooo special!!! I love you soooooooooooooooo much Jason!!!!!!
